How do I know when it’s time for new tyres?

How do I get more life out of my tyres so that I don’t have to replace them as often?

Maintaining the correct tyre pressure is vital. There is usually a manufacturer’s pressure guideline posted on the inside vehicle door; however, these are just guidelines – actual care is entirely up to you. Bear in mind that temperature changes also affect inflation pressure, which increases in warm weather and decreases in cold weather. If you can, it’s best to fit all four tyres at the same time to ensure even grip and wear. The next best option is fitting two tyres as a pair to get the best handling and grip on each axle.
